Original vintage magazine Arts et Metiers Graphiques No 51 from 15 February 1936, a luxury French bimonthly graphic art and photography magazine, established in 1927, last issued in 1939. The cover of the magazine features bold, stylised, black lettering with white stars over a pale blue and white gradient background. The issue features articles about 'Narcissus' by Paul Valery, illustrated by Laure-Albin Guillot, Flemish drawings, romantic greetings cards, monotypes by Edgar Degas, millennial skiing and a fifteenth-century Gothic alphabet, article on Swiss designer Herbert Matter. Magazine inserts include information on the chronology of graphic design, an advert for ski club Paris, an advert for a Vedette V8 automobile, an illustrated music flyer titled Vom Himmel Hoch and a flyer for 30% off tickets to Switzerland. The issue has 68 pages. Good condition, staining on cover, pencil marks on cover, ink stamp on back cover. Creasing, paper losses and tears on spine, some minor stains and browning on pages.
